Questa notte nel salone del Beverly Hilton a Los Angeles si è tenuta la 78ª edizione dei Golden Globes. A presentare la serata sono state Tina Fey ed Amy Poehler, che tornano per la quarta volta su quel palco nelle vesti di conduttrici. Tra i film, un buon successo è stato riscosso da Soul della Pixar, con due vittorie, mentre per le serie TV spiccano titoli come gli acclamati The Crown e La Regina degli Scacchi. Grande riconoscimento anche per Laura Pausini, che si aggiudica una statuetta per la migliore canzone originale, dal film La Vita Davanti a Sé.
