Di recente la Universal ha spostato Fast and Furious 9 al 2020, lasciando che il posto del film fosse occupato da uno spin-off della serie dedicato ai personaggi di Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) e Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham). Se già The Rock tempo fa non era stato in buoni rapporti con Vin Diesel, adesso tocca a Tyrese Gibson, altro membro del "clan", protestare su Instagram. Come Diesel, anche Gibson in sostanza accusa Johnson di voler concentrare la saga su di sè, togliendo spazio agli altri, compromettendo l'assetto di una serie che è diventata col tempo corale. Ora Tyrese provoca Johnson, allude all'insuccesso di Baywatch e sottolinea che non cancellerà il post, come invece aveva fatto in precedenza con un altro commento scritto direttamente sotto un post di The Rock.

Tralasciando tutta sta pappardella, ma... Un nono film della saga è proprio necessario? E basta! Ho visto 3-4 film della saga e sono più o meno simili. Capisco che il brand funziona e decidono di puntare su più sequel ma c'è un limite a tutto.
Comunque non sapevo che Vin Diesel e The Rock non andassero d'accordo... Qualcuno sa del motivo? :V
